Coach broke again…

Sigh…

8PM Update!!!

As much shit as I talk about the way CampingWorld handled some things post-sale…I’ll give them this one.
Thanks to the one year of Good Sam Roadside Assistance that goes with every coach they sell…
Thanks to the 3 year/36,000 mile Extended Warranty the finance guy sort of “talked me into” – but not really, he made the argument that extended warranties on cars are an idiot’s bargain, since repairs on cars are very, very rarely more than $1000 for anything but the most catastrophic of repairs, while RV repairs generally *start* at 1000 and go up from there (and thanks to the guy on the internet who’s story I read about getting the $1000 deductible warranty, then having 5x $400 things break in the first year – that talked me into the $100 deductible)…

This cost me…

Ready?

They replaced the starter – those of you who checked the website saw the Instagram picture of the starter – and the knock sensor (which was damaged when the starter ate it) to the tune of $722.22…

Then there was the tow. I don’t even know how much that cost, but I shot some video. Even though they only towed the coach a mile and a half to the repair shop, the tow was not cheap, I promise you.

My cost?
A $100 deductible, and 4 hours of time.

…I even made it to Wildwood before dark…
